Like GirlOnWax owner DJ Leanne, Gabe grew up in Saskatoon, SK. When he first started DJing 5 years ago he won the ‘Novice DJ of the Year’ award and has continued to receive excellent feedback (9 & 10 out of 10) from clients ever since.
His forte is spinning for Wedding, Corporate and Sporting Events. Gabe is extremely outgoing and takes delight in engaging crowds with his hilarious MC style on the mic and fantastic skills behind the decks. Gabe has a wide array of favourite musical genres and mixes them up effortlessly.

DJ Gabe loves to DJ because: “Of the creativity and the challenge of it! As a DJ you get to take music and give it something of your own; through your track choices and your mixing choices/style. The challenge is to do it right. To make mixes that don’t kill the party, but add to it. Where people can just continue on having a good time!”
